Gardens to stir our emotions in the five senses

  • Sight / Visual - We create breathtaking views of the garden from any viewing point. We blend a variety of colors and textures together to ensure that there is color and interest in every season. We work with light to shade areas from the heat of the sun or to bring in interest with low voltage lighting. We excite the mind with ever-changing and moving gardens. Our gardens' plants sway in the wind and invite butterflies, birds and other wildlife.
  • Smell - We love for our clients to spend time outdoors and take in a breath of fresh air or to smell the first cut grass of the season. We strategically place flowers and aromatic foliage around the garden to sweeten the air with their fragrance.
  • Hearing - By incorporating various plants that produce flowers and berries, we attract singing birds. We create seating areas where our clients can relax next to calming sounds of trickling water or a crackling fire. We lessen the sound pollution entering the garden and have plenty of leaves to rustle as the wind passes though them.
  • Touch - We place interesting leaves that beckon to be touched... soft, hard, sticky, glossy, fuzzy, or sharp. We encourage our clients to venture out into their gardens and to feel the grass on their bare feet. We create stone walkways that you feel as you walk through and water features that invite children to play.
  • Taste - We incorporate fresh herbs and vegetables into the designs for our clients to add into their favorite recipes.

  • A work of art that you can walk into and enjoy from within.
  • Create interesting places for plants to grow.
  • There is a sense of excitement created, anticipation of what is to come and the element of surprise that comes from season to season or within each new visitor that comes.
  • Create privacy and security.
  • Our clients can relax and have a spiritual connection with the garden and be in tune with nature.
  • A sense of pride that reflects the quality of your family or business.
  • Personal enjoyment, a better quality of life and enhanced family times.
  • One can make a hobby out of working in the garden or collecting plants and garden art.
  • We blend plants with various colors and textures to incorporate interest for every season. We like to ensure that there is always something exciting to look at, even when the garden is dormant.
  • As you walk through the garden, each step will reveal a new view into the garden and to the spaces created within.
  • Gardens can improve your health as a therapeutic healing tool.
  • Gardens are also relaxing and even useful as a form of exercise.
