A landscape by Dallas Foster is more than just a few plants and rocks randomly placed around the yard. It is a well-thought-out interpretation of your vision. We work closely with our clients and listen to what they are asking for and then we accomplish their vision in a well-designed and practical way. We create our work in an environmentally friendly way and always pay attention to the impact we have on a project and its surroundings.
Our designs begin to come alive in our minds when we first arrive at the property for our initial consultation. We personally meet each client on site to get to know them and the needs of the project. Often we consult with our clients before they even break ground on their new construction. While looking around the property and evaluating the space, we work to complete a detailed questionnaire that will help us to personalize your portrait in nature. After seeing the space and determining your goals and the needs of site, we will begin discussing a budget as well as our initial ideas and vision before we leave the site. We continue to spend time on the site and at the drawing table working out our designs for the project.
At a second meeting, design ideas and budgets are discussed and agreed upon, leading the way for the Landscapes by Dallas Foster crews to begin work. Our designers remain involved throughout the entire project. They work closely with the crews to begin the project and along the way to make necessary changes that may arise. Though they stick with the original design intent on many occasions, they also adjust the original design, creating as they go. The designers spend much of their time on site working side by side with the crew to properly group boulders and set each plant to ensure that their ideas from paper become reality. The end result is a mix of our creativity that is a true reflection of your personality-your own portrait in nature.
We also encourage people to call long-before the landscaping is needed. We have worked with many clients to locate where to build on a site, what trees to save and how the traffic flow will work around the property. It is never too early for us to get involved in a project, and we can help to head off issues that we commonly see develop later in a project.
